We can’t do this without your help, so please consider giving whatever you can so that our community’s kids (and adults alike) can benefit from this wonderful, inclusive, free neighborhood program. Maybe longer, depending on the funds we can raise. Our hope is that with generous community donations, paired with a lump sum from the PCA, we can run the project for at least 4 weeks this summer. It is an expensive project to run, costing approximately $1,000 per week. Sadly, this year we were not so lucky and did not receive any funding! The Pocket Community Association (PCA) and resident artist Jerry Silverberg, put a lot of work into applying for Toronto Art Council grants each year so that we can run the beloved Art in the Park during the summer months in Phin Avenue Parkette.įor the past 3 years we have successfully received enough money to run the program for either July, August or both. The first day is Monday, July 31st from 11am to 3pm, at Phin Park.
